Letter from the mission president

Today i received a letter from my future mission president, President Woodland. In this letter contained more details about my mission. There are 6 stakes and it listed some well known cities in my area. There is one temple in my mission, the Hague, Netherlands Temple. Along with the letter was a list of acceptable music. Mostly the norm. Mormon tab, church composers and such. Josh groban's x-mas cd is on there tho, that surprised me. And InsideOut Reverence CD. i wont be miserable but im sure going to miss all my music. I'll be too busy to notice really. and it looks like snail mail only. lemme know (or my family) if you want to write and I'll/they'll tell you the details and my adress and such!

Return Paperwork

There's a lot involved with serving a foreign mission. For my mission to Belgium i had to get 2 visas for belgiumand to photocopies of those, 2 visas for France and 2 phototcopies, 2 certified birth certificates, photocopies of both, a brand new passport and 3 photocopies, fingerprints and for FBI clearance *breath* and forms reguarding voluntary service, and financial guarunteed and practically everything needed to be notarized. So, for all those prospective missionaries, think twice before praying for a foreign mission, cuz after all the paperwork you still gotta learn the language! I gathered all my identity and was ready to send it off except for 13 missionary passport type photos of me. It took me a while to get them done, i guess i lost steam right before the finish line. but i submitted everything last weekend.

The Call

My call came on January 23rd, 2009 to the Belgium Brussels/Netherlands mission French speaking and I am to report at 11:00 April 22, 2009 to the MTC in Provo. I've taken 5 years of French in high school and I'm very rusty but I've been studying up since then. i hope to hit the ground running when i go to the MTC so i can get to my mission sooner. I'm so excited!
